Yesterday, we had customers from Hong Kong and Thailand at the counter of our restaurant. Everyone was enjoying their SUSHI, but they started talking to each other in loud voices and big gestures.
The restaurant became very noisy. Other customers felt uncomfortable. I told them to be quiet. Everyone noticed and peaceful time returned.
Japanese food culture has many rules and manners. Not all restaurants have no problem with loud conversation, so if you are interested in visiting high-end SUSHI restaurant in Japan, please check out our guide introduction on Youtube.
